2020: The Lord is Good, All the Time!

Shalom, dear family and friends in Messiah!

Most will agree that 2020 has been an “eventful” year. But what is undeniable is this: the Lord is good, all the time. For us here at Word of Messiah Ministries (WMM), we saw the Lord give many blessings and opportunities to do Kingdom work in ways we haven’t been able to do before.

The mission of Word of Messiah is to bring the Good News of Yeshua (Jesus) to the Jew first. How do we do it? We plant Messianic congregations in Jewish communities; we develop Messianic leaders so that they can have healthy congregations who are reaching out to the unsaved in their communities; and we work with churches and pastors to strengthen them in their calling of reaching the Jewish people with the Good News of Yeshua.

We agree with the Apostle Paul, that magnification of the ministry can and will happen as we help edify and equip our fellow believers to point Jewish people to their Messiah (Romans 11:11-14). In other words, you, dear brother or sister in the Lord, are a needed and vital part of this work!

We all can help; won’t you please pray with us for the Jewish people to be saved? We are a totally faith-based mission and are trusting the Lord for His provision and sustaining of WMM in sharing the Good News of Yeshua to the Jewish communities around the world. The Lord has done so much for us this year, and we wanted to share with you these updates:

Future Ministry in Israel
As we are planning our future outreach to minister in Israel, we ask for your prayers that God would open doors for us. We are grateful for Ari Sorko-Ram, our Israeli friend and leader of Maoz Israel Ministries, who has welcomed us into Israel and endorsed The Israel Factor, stating: “The Messianic Jewish body in Israel has only gained by having Sam Nadler come and teach the leaders and congregations and ministries throughout the Land. He has a wealth of Biblical knowledge with practical application of principles that he very effectively imparts to all who hear.” Making disciples of Yeshua is our desire and calling; may the Lord grant us many opportunities to do so in 2021!

Conferences:
One of the ministry aspects that makes WMM unique is our Messianic Leaders Conference. This is a conference that is not being done anywhere else by any other ministry. During these sessions, Sam teaches congregational leaders from all over the world how to develop, establish, and maintain healthy Messianic congregations. He tailors it to the individuals in attendance to help them troubleshoot any problem areas so that they can flourish and serve Messiah more effectively, making disciples within their communities. The feedback from the leaders after they attend one of these conferences is not only positive, but it reinforces the fact that these conferences are of utmost importance if we aim to reach the Jewish people with the Good News of Messiah.

In February, we held an on-site “Developing Healthy Messianic Congregations” conference in Phoenix, AZ where the Lord greatly blessed our time with leaders and staff from AZ, UT, and CO. We just wrapped up our last “Developing Healthy Messianic Congregations” Zoom Conference this November, where leaders from 7 states were able to learn how to proactively shepherd their congregations in evangelism, discipleship, and leadership during this time of Covid. Several of the leaders have immediately begun mentoring sessions with Sam; an offer he extends to all leaders who take his leadership course.

Prior to 2020, all of our conferences have been “Developing Healthy Messianic Congregations” conferences. But it was through ministering to these leaders that Sam began to see the need for Messianic Marriage Conferences. Though a leader may be great, a congregation can be no stronger than the marriages and families that make it up. With the completion of his book, Messianic Marriage Matters in 2019, the Lord gave us an opportunity to host our very first Messianic Marriage Matters conference on-site at Hope of Israel Congregation (Charlotte, NC) in January. We had a full house as couples and singles came from NC, SC, VA, and GA to learn and grow in God’s Word and original plan for marriage. The Lord opened up two more opportunities in the Spring and Summer to minister via Zoom to couples not just in the US, but in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand as well.

Book Projects Completed in 2020
2020 kept on giving us surprises, like the release of TWO books written by Sam. Published this summer, Messianic Eldership hit our shelves as a tool to develop mature believing men into elders who are able to help shepherd the flock—first at home, and then in the congregation. Sam shows how Scripture gives the divine standards for leadership, regardless of one’s personality.

Sam also completed and released in November The Israel Factor: Factoring Back in What God Never Factored Out. Today we are at a time in history that people one hundred years ago could never have dreamed of seeing. At this very moment, a great work of God is happening amongst the Jewish people. Not only are Jewish people coming to faith, but they are also embracing their identity as Jewish believers in Messiah, living as a recognized testimony of God’s faithfulness to Israel and the nations. This is the testimony that was proclaimed by the apostles, but one that has not been biblically taught since the first century. The Israel Factor explores what it would look like if we truly considered Israel the way God does in the Scriptures. If we do, it is not only life-changing for us, but for the Jewish people and the whole world!

The Lord is already blessing the message of this book with pre-sales and endorsements from Believing Jewish and Gentile leaders! We praise God for what He has already done, and we give Him future praise for whatever direction He decides to use this book.

New Births:
In April, we recorded a Passover message from Sam with an accompanying seder to help people celebrate the Feast in their own homes. We released it online where it was downloaded and shared by hundreds…AND PEOPLE WERE SAVED!!! Many families used this video to celebrate Passover for the first time ever. Through our outreaches, including Passover and High Holy Days, we saw both Jews and Gentiles come to personal faith in Messiah Yeshua. The Lord gave the increase to these efforts, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Each week we have Jewish and Gentile seekers attending our services with genuine spiritual interest. Sam’s books, The Messianic Answer Book and Messianic Discipleship have been widely distributed this year and instrumental in answering questions of pre-believers, as well as helping to mature both young and old in the faith.

 Prayer Requests
As you remember Word of Messiah Ministries in your prayers, would you pray with us on these future matters? As the country (and world) continues to adapt to new changes, we ask that the Lord would open up opportunities in these areas:

  • For ministry in Israel and other countries
  • For speaking engagements and open hearts in churches to help the Body of Messiah understand their calling to bring the Good News of Yeshua the Jewish people
  • For more Leadership conferences online and in person
  • For the message of The Israel Factor to reach seminaries and all who have ears to hear!

We appreciate your prayers and support in these matters, and we trust the Lord that He will provide and lead us through 2021, just as He has done all these years. Please visit our website to see all that the Lord is doing and to read the reports of others who have benefitted from this ministry.

In Yeshua’s love,
