What a Glorious Year of Grace

As I briefly review 2024, I have great thankfulness in my heart for what the Lord has accomplished through Word of Messiah Ministries in the past 12 months, and instrumentally through your prayers. Thank you!

A Bad Bet

Yes! We have seen many come to faith in Messiah, but this is the Lord giving the increase to our meager efforts. To God be the glory! One Jewish man, Bill* prayed to receive Messiah, but only after seeing the prophecies and then having the Lord work through his pride as he kept insisting that he is a good person. One of his boasts was that he doesn’t gamble. I responded, “No, Bill, you are one of the biggest gamblers I know! For you are gambling on you being good enough for the Holy God to accept, and Bill, that is a bad bet.” Soon after, he prayed, trusting Yeshua the Messiah.

Open Doors

There are numerous others who similarly placed their faith in the Lord. PTL! And I am looking forward to returning to Israel next year, Yeshua willing. Pray for the open doors that no man or war can close. And please pray for the hostages to be rescued from Gaza and that God will protect Israel according to His promises.

Boot Camp!

We had a wonderful in-person Word of Messiah Boot Camp in the Spring for new planters, organized by Julie Scott, Word of Messiah’s conference coordinator. It had twenty-two people in attendance from as far away as Indonesia. It was a great privilege to provide training for these future heroes of the faith. Several attendees had to rethink their time priorities as they came to terms with the amount of work required for effective ministry.

All found the conference to be a time of renewal of the vision to win the lost sheep of the house of Israel as well as the lost sheep of the nations. We had the Boot Camp professionally recorded, and it is now available online at wordofmessiah.org for new planters to learn step by step how, by His grace through faith, to plant a new congregation. And this on-demand training is also available as well to refresh more seasoned leaders on the priorities and essential practices to grow and develop the congregations that have been planted.

Marriage Conferences!

To strengthen the congregation plants, the Word of Messiah Marriage Conferences have helped many couples go from “good to great,” as well as those with troubled marriages experiencing the miraculous grace of God bringing healing through a renewed vision of a Messiah-centered home. So far, we are the only Jewish mission that both plants congregations and provides internal strengthening of the families that make up those communities of faith. We offer this spiritual and practical help both in person as well as by Zoom, and now it is available on demand!

We have professionally recorded the Word of Messiah Marriage Conferences so that couples do not have to wait for the next conference on February 1-2, 2025, but can get the help they need when they need it! Remember, the congregations that we plant can be no stronger than the families that make up those communities. And the same is true for your congregation as well. New Books coming soon!

We are also excited for Miriam Nadler’s second volume regarding, “Messiah: The Healer of Women.” As you may know, her first volume presented Yeshua’s healing ministry to the women in the Tanach (i.e., the Old Covenant). Her newest volume shows His healing work for the women of the New Covenant and for you! And we nearly sell out of them everywhere they are sold! This December, drum roll please, “Young David: the Making of a Messianic King,” will be published (Yeshua willing!). This is written as a discipleship book for Teens and Young Adults. The youth ministry in every congregation is key to the community’s future. We must see the teens both saved and discipled in the faith in order for them to have an impact on their culture.

A Helpful Tool

Remember parents, you are not raising children, you are raising leaders, i.e., leaders in a new home. The teens must learn to “fight the good fight of faith” and continue to build up their home congregation through their faithfulness in the Lord. This book will be a helpful tool in training up the teens to follow their Messiah. (Adults will want to read it, too!)

Revival anyone?

Some of you may be reading this report because you heard me or one of our staff, speak in your church. Through the diligent efforts of our ministries coordinator, the Lord opened the doors to thirty-five churches for the Word of Messiah staff to speak about God’s love for Israel and the church’s calling and responsibility to reach out to the greater Jewish community. In some cases, it seemed like revival had taken place between people coming to faith and many understanding God’s call to reach the lost sheep of the house of Israel with the Good News.

Sheep Nations needed

It is shocking to realize that there are churches that do not know of God’s sacred calling upon the Gentile believer in Messiah to reach their Jewish friends and neighbors with Good News. It is through these “sheep nations” that the end times revival will occur, which brings national Israel to trust in Yeshua and bring about the Second Coming of Messiah to earth.
