In mid December I returned to Richmond, VA to speak about Jesus being the fulfillment of Hanukkah -The Feast of Dedication. After the service I met Sarah*, a Jewish woman, who was invited by Linda* to come and I had the privilege of speaking together with her. Sarah took the opportunity to find out more about the teaching she heard during the morning service. |

Inconceivable? Smiling, I responded, “You know Sarah it is funny that two Jews should be having a discussion about miracles, because without miracles we as a Jewish people would not even exist. From the miracle child of Abraham and Sarah to God preserving us throughout history despite the anti-Semites, our history is a history of miracles.” Sarah continued, “Sam, how did you come to believe that Yeshua is our Messiah?” I shared my personal testimony of faith in Yeshua. I encouraged Sarah to put her trust in the promises that God has given to our people; these very promises were fulfilled in Yeshua’s coming and giving His life as the ultimate atonement for our sins. As we departed I offered her The Messianic Answer Book that could answer even more questions. We parted with a friendly hug as she promised to read the book and send me her questions.
